AREAS WE COVER

Scaffolding Contractor Serving Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire & East Anglia

Synergy Access Ltd provides scaffolding services to housebuilders, principal contractors, and housing associations across the East of England and East Midlands. Our operational base and depot infrastructure are structured to support high-volume, multi-site new-build residential programmes across our core territories, with the capacity to mobilise to new sites at short notice.

All works are delivered under our SMAS, CHAS, and SSIP accreditations, with CISRS- and CITB-registered operatives throughout. We operate in full compliance with NASC standards on every project.

Our Core Operating Areas

Cambridgeshire

Cambridgeshire is our primary operating county and where the majority of our residential scaffolding portfolio is concentrated. We work regularly across the county on new-build housing developments ranging from small infill sites to large-scale urban extensions. Our site teams have established working relationships with principal contractors operating across the Greater Cambridge, South Cambridgeshire, East Cambridgeshire, and Fenland districts.

Key areas: Cambridge, Peterborough, Huntingdon, Ely, St Ives, St Neots, Wisbech, March, Chatteris, Ramsey, Soham.

Lincolnshire

Lincolnshire represents a significant and growing part of our operational territory. We cover both South Lincolnshire — where new-build housing activity is strong across the Boston and South Holland districts — and the wider county, including Lincoln, Sleaford, Grantham, and Spalding. Our familiarity with Lincolnshire planning frameworks and the principal contractors active in this area allows us to integrate efficiently into programmes from pre-start stage.

Key areas: Lincoln, Grantham, Boston, Spalding, Sleaford, Stamford, Market Deeping, Bourne, Skegness, Louth.

Norfolk

We service new-build residential programmes across Norfolk, including volume housebuilder sites in and around Norwich, King's Lynn, and the growth corridors along the A47 and A11. Norfolk's housing pipeline continues to expand, and our operational resource is structured to support multi-phase programmes throughout the county.

Key areas: Norwich, King's Lynn, Great Yarmouth, Thetford, Dereham, Fakenham, Swaffham, Downham Market, Holt.

Suffolk

Across Suffolk we work on new-build housing and residential-led mixed-use developments, with established presence in Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, and the growth areas along the A14 corridor. We understand the delivery timescales and programme pressures common to Suffolk's housebuilder market and can structure our service accordingly.

Key areas: Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, Lowestoft, Newmarket, Sudbury, Stowmarket, Haverhill, Felixstowe.

Northamptonshire

Northamptonshire is part of our active expansion territory. The county's significant housing growth allocation — particularly in West Northamptonshire and North Northamptonshire — represents a strong pipeline for specialist scaffolding subcontractors. We are actively building client relationships in this area and have the operational capacity to support programmes here.

Key areas: Northampton, Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough, Daventry, Towcester, Brackley, Rushden

Hertfordshire & North London Fringe

We selectively operate in northern Hertfordshire and the M25 corridor where project scale, programme, and commercial terms align. Our preference in this area is for volume new-build residential schemes rather than individual domestic or commercial work.

Key areas: Stevenage, Hertford, Ware, Bishops Stortford, Royston, Hoddesdon

What We Deliver Across All Areas

Regardless of location, every Synergy Access Ltd project is delivered to the same operational standard:

  • Dedicated site foreman allocated per project from project start

  • Scaffold design and RAMS provided prior to commencement, compliant with TG20 and BS EN 12811

  • Cloud-based H&S documentation accessible in real time by client site teams

  • Digital compliance as standard — handover certificates, RAMS, and 7-day scaffold inspections are generated and emailed directly to site management upon completion, with no delays or manual chasing required

  • Programme-led delivery — lifts, crashdecks, and dismantles scheduled and communicated to match the client's build programme

  • Weekly site audits with written records available on request

  • Direct commercial contact throughout — no call centres or account management layers

New-Build Housing — Our Specialism

Our core business is new-build residential scaffolding for volume housebuilders and housing associations. We understand the specific demands of this sector: tight plot programmes, sequential lift requirements across multiple plots simultaneously, garage and curtilage scaffolding as a separate workflow, and the commercial model that housebuilders expect from a subcontractor operating at scale.

We work with clients operating at volumes from 30 to 500+ plots per site, and our systems — including our digital valuation and programme tracking infrastructure — are built to handle the complexity and reporting requirements of large residential schemes.

Clients currently active across our operating area include Bloor Homes, Allison Homes, and Barratt Developments.
